In the presence of exudate, the dressing provides a sustained release of a low dose of Ibuprofen throughout wear time (up to 7 days), supporting moist wound healing while delivering localized pain management where it’s needed.

Comparative studies have shown a reduction in wound pain versus dressings without Ibuprofen, helping improve patient comfort and compliance during the healing process.
Mode of action
Ibuprofen is released when the foam comes into contact with wound exudate, ensuring targeted, local delivery directly within the wound environment.
Composition
Absorbent polyurethane foam containing 0.5 mg/cm2 of Ibuprofen homogeneously dispersed throughout the foam matrix for consistent performance across the entire dressing.
Usage
Indicated for a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds. This includes acute wounds such as second-degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions; and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. Suitable for use in combination with compression therapy.
