Unique 3D foam structure for superior absorption
When in contact with exudate, the unique 3D foam structure conforms closely to the wound bed for superior absorption—even under compression.
Soft and flexible dressing for comfort
This non-adhesive foam dressing is soft and flexible to support high patient comfort. Bevelled edges help reduce the risk of pressure marks.
Moist wound healing with local ibuprofen release
In the presence of exudate, a sustained low dose of ibuprofen is released into the wound bed throughout the wear time (up to 7 days), supporting moist wound healing while helping manage wound-related pain.
Wound healing does not have to be painful
Comparative studies have shown reduced wound pain versus foam dressings without ibuprofen.
Mode of action
Ibuprofen is released when the foam comes into contact with wound exudate.
Composition
An absorbent polyurethane foam containing 0.5 mg/cm2 of ibuprofen homogeneously dispersed throughout the foam matrix.
Usage
Indicated for a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds, including acute wounds such as second degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions; and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. Suitable for use in combination with compression therapy for advanced wound care.
