Description
Experience gentle, effective wound care and secure fixation with a versatile combination of tubular bandage and transfer dressing designed for comfort, protection, and optimal healing. This latex-free solution supports everyday clinical needs and home care, helping maintain a moist wound environment while minimising pain and skin trauma at dressing changes.
Why it works
The highly conformable transfer layer moves exudate away from the wound bed into an appropriate secondary dressing, reducing the risk of maceration. Its soft silicone contact layer (Safetac®) adheres gently to skin, seals the wound margins, and helps prevent damage during removal. The thin, flexible foam construction contours easily to difficult body areas and can be cut to fit various shapes.
Secure, breathable fixation
The tubular bandage provides comfortable, non-bulky fixation without adhesives, making it ideal for sensitive or fragile skin. It offers consistent, even support and can be used to hold primary and secondary dressings in place, including under compression bandaging when indicated.
How to use
1. Cleanse the wound according to clinical practice.
2. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
3. Select a suitable dressing size to overlap intact skin. If needed, cut to fit the wound shape and location.
4. Remove the first release film and apply the adherent side to the wound.
5. Remove the remaining release film and smooth down—do not stretch.
6. Apply an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing if exudate is present and secure with tubular bandage or other fixation as required.
Change intervals may be several days; replace before saturation, leakage, or as per clinical guidance. When using an absorbent secondary layer, it may require more frequent changes than the underlying transfer dressing. Inspect skin regularly when used for protection.
Intended use
Suitable for a wide range of exuding wounds and for protection of compromised or fragile skin. Can be used by laypersons under the supervision of a health care professional. Compatible with compression and gels.
Precautions
• Do not use with known hypersensitivity to the dressing or its materials.
• Do not use together with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide.
• If signs of clinical infection occur (e.g., fever, redness, warmth, swelling), consult a health care professional.
• Single-use only. Do not reuse. Do not re-sterilise. Do not use if the sterile barrier is damaged.
